A pop up exhibition featuring the ceramic works of the Lebel Junior Ceramics Guild
May 27th- June 5th in our second floor event space
Opening Reception on Wednesday, May 27th from 5-7pm
The Allied Arts Council of Pincher Creek is excited to share a special pop up show featuring the works of the Lebel Mansion Junior Ceramics Guild.
The Jr. Ceramics program began in 2022 after many years of Mud Makers pottery programs for kids.
The goal is to allow kids to access the studio in a different way, guiding each other as they learn and develop new skills with the help of their instructor Valerie Wynder.
Now in its fourth year, we have seen a beautiful community of young ceramicists grow in the Lebel pottery studio, with some young folks attending each and every offering ( three 10 week programs during the school year) since it's inception.
These young potters support each other to push their limits, trying new things, exploring what is possible and developing their skillsets. We are so honoured, excited and proud to support these young artists as they showcase their ceramics work for the first time. The community they have created is inspiring.
We invite you to join us in our second floor event space for a special reception on Wednesday, May 27th from 5-7pm, and the exhibition will be available for viewing the week of May 27th-June 5th.
We are open Wednesday to Friday from 10-5pm and Saturdays from 12-4pm.

Through interactive activities and discussions, this workshop explores the roots of harassment experienced by those with intersectional identities, particularly the 2SLGBTQ+ community, and provides strategies to address discrimination, prevent harassment, and highlight the role of bystanders.
This workshop provides an overview of power and privilege, interactive opportunities to reflect on attitudes and beliefs around gender and sexual diversity and practical tools for being an engaged bystander. Participants will leave this training prepared to address harassment and discrimination in a way that empowers the person experiencing harm, while calling people who perpetuate harm into productive discussions. This workshop is free to attend ,with the goal of empowering organizations and their staff in fostering safe and inclusive community spaces.
This workshop is facilitated by The Centre for Sexuality: Training Centre based in Calgary, AB.
Thank you to the Pincher Creek and District F.C.S.S. for their support of this event through Special projects Funding.
