The Junior Ceramics Guild was developed in 2022/2023 after six years of kids clay classes with the initial support of the Youth In Action Grant from The Community Foundation of Lethbridge.

The goal of the Jr. Guild is to allow kids ages 9+ who have attended ceramics classes at the studio in the past to access the studio in a different way, guiding each other as they learn and develop new skills with the help of Jr. Ceramics instructor Valerie Wynder.

Junior Guild Members will have the opportunity to experiment with using specific types of glazes or underglazes, and using the wheel or hand-building.
