Two Day Stained Glass Workshop with Kathy Schwarz
Saturday & Sunday February 18th and 19th from 10:00 -4:30pm

In this workshop students will spend two six hours sessions ( with a half hour lunch break) learning the basics of Stained Glass with Instructor Kathy Schwarz.

Learn about cutting, grinding and soldering as you create the design of your choice.

Back up weather dates are February 25th and 26th.

During the class you will have enough time to make one stained glass panel of your choice. It is important that you choose a pattern and share your idea with the instructor as soon as possible.

We recommend that you choose a pattern with no more than 15 pieces. You can find patterns online by searching “free stained glass patterns” using Google. Alternatively, you can go to the library or pick up a stained glass magazine.

Please make sure to pre-register within the suggested time frame and email a copy of your chosen pattern to lebel.programs@gmail.com by February 9th so that you are able to discuss your planned image with the instructor before the class begins!

The Creatives Meetup

Wednesday afternoons from

1:00-4:00 pm

The Creatives Meetup is a FREE, weekly open studio on Wednesdays at The Lebel.

Easels, tables and chairs are provided- you bring the rest!

The Allied Arts Council is opening up its boardroom on Wednesday afternoons for artists to meet up and work together, chat, collaborate or just hang out and make connections.

Started in the fall of 2022 by Heidi Bengry, this Wednesday artist meetup is a place where artists can come work in a space together for a few hours with no instruction provided. This is a great opportunity to meet up and chat with other creatives in your community, get advice, critiques or work on your own with some company. Bring your supplies, some inspiration and your latest works!

*Individuals 18 and under  interested in participating in The Creatives Meetup must be accompanied by an adult. *
