Big News: Accessible Washroom Coming to the Lebel Mansion!
We are proud to share that the Allied Arts Council of Pincher Creek has been awarded funding from the Government of Canada: Enabling Accessibility Fund to install a barrier-free washroom in the historic Lebel Mansion, a place we’ve been proud to call home for forty years.
This exciting upgrade is part of our ongoing commitment to fostering a creative, community hub- a space that is welcoming, inclusive, and accessible to everyone in our community.
Why barrier-free matters:
Accessibility means creating spaces where everyone can participate fully and freely, with confidence and comfort. A barrier-free washroom is more than just a facility, it's a vital step toward making sure people of all abilities feel welcome, supported, and included in everything we offer.
Over the years the Town of Pincher Creek and Allied Arts Council have worked together, taking meaningful steps toward accessibility, including the installation of an elevator in 2020. This new project builds on that progress and brings us one step closer to an inclusive space for all.

Grande nouvelle : des toilettes accessibles arrivent au Manoir Lebel !
Nous sommes fiers d'annoncer que Allied Arts Council de Pincher Creek a reçu un financement du Gouvernement du Canada : Fonds pour L'accessibilité pour installer des toilettes sans obstacle dans le manoir historique Lebel, un endroit que nous sommes fiers d'appeler notre cheznous depuis quarante ans.
Cette mise à niveau passionnante fait partie de notre engagement continu à favoriser un centre communautaire créatif, un espace accueillant, inclusif et accessible à tous les membres de notre communauté.
Pourquoi l’accessibilité est importante :
L'accessibilité signifie créer des espaces où chacun peut participer pleinement et librement, en toute confiance et confort. Des toilettes accessibles sont plus qu'une simple installation : c'est une étape essentielle pour que les personnes de toutes capacités se sentent accueillies, soutenues et incluses dans tout ce que nous proposons.
Au fil des ans, la Ville de Pincher Creek et l'Allied Arts Council ont travaillé ensemble, prenant des mesures significatives en faveur de l'accessibilité, notamment l'installation d'un ascenseur en 2020. Ce nouveau projet s'appuie sur ces progrès et nous rapproche un peu plus d'un espace inclusif pour tous.

Nous sommes profondément reconnaissants au fonds pour L'accessibilité du Gouvernement du Canada pour son généreux soutien qui nous a permis d'améliorer l'expérience des visiteurs au Manoir Lebel, en vue d'une expérience plus accessible et inclusive. Nous tenons également à remercier sincèrement la Ville de Pincher Creek pour son soutien à notre organisation et pour l'entretien et la gestion continus du Manoir Lebel.
